Delhi 6's first song has been released.This song titled "Massakali" has been a great hit instantaenously.

AR Rahman has once again proved his magical composing.

DELHI 6 - SNEAK PREVIEW

After director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra wowed us with Rang De Basanti two years ago, he's back with Delhi-6, starring Abhishek Bachchan  and Sonam KapoorSonam Kapoor, daughter of Anil Kapoor, who made her debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya, has reportedly confirmed taking part in the movie and will be paired with Abhishek Bachchan. Rishi Kapoor and Tanvi Azmi are also apart of the film. The film went on the floors Dec. 20, 2007 Amitabh Bachchan will also have a small role in the film where he will play the grandfather to Roshan, played by Abhishek Bachchan. Waheeda Rahman will play the grandmother of the same character.It has been roped in to play Abhishek Bachchan's dad in the film.

 

The title is inspired from the pin code of an area in Delhi, where the story is based. This area houses the historical Jama Masjid and Red Fort .

 The story sees Roshan travelling from the USA to India with his ailing grandmother. Little does he know that this quick trip will turn into the longest journey of his life. Delhi-6 is told against the backdrop of the ancient walled city of Delhi.  

 

The film is likely to release in February.
